What is the purpose of this blog? To awaken Estill Countians to the need of a better road from Irvine KY north to Hargett and Clay City. More pressure from local people would put pressure on the State Department of Transportation. Maybe they could explain why Estill County has the WORST access to the parkway!! And then put the dollars forward for a new road linking Estill County and the Mountain Parkway.

Spot imrpovements along KY 82/89
The 6 year road plan states something to the effect that "spot" improvements will be made to these roads. How about getting rid of the Ace Barns curve and the curve near Twin Creek Road on KY 82?
